Every Child Free (formerly Ernest Cecil Filio Foundation) is a local 501(c)(3) organization passionate about supporting girls up to 17 years old, who have been rescued from the sex trade industry in the Permian Basin.

They are cherished and loved with long term physical, spiritual & emotional support for healing, while directing them onto the right path.

Texas' Shrinking Safety Net for Rescued Children

Four long-term safe homes once operated across Texas for children rescued out of trafficking and exploitation. Today only two remain. Two of the closures came down to pure economics — the crushing cost of keeping the lights on, staff paid, and beds filled in a state where residential care runs expensive.

Against that backdrop of contraction, the recent Trump administration has presided over a wave of high-profile rescues across the country. Whether that rescue energy translates into enough beds and long-term placements for the kids pulled out is a separate, unresolved question.
